Brightwheel (BW)

SSA utilizes Brightwheel as our student portal.

Brightwheel features:

-Digital paperwork, newsletters, reminders and updates.

-Daily updates: Real-time feed of activities throughout the day that may include photos, videos, food, nap, potty, note, meds, incidents, observations and portfolios.

-Photos: Watch your child's day unfold with snapshots delivered to your mobile device.

-Stay connected: Stay in touch with your teacher and strengthen school learning with activities at home. Ability to messages staff and administration through the portal.

-Digital check-in: Easy digital check-in with personal passcodes. Add approved adults to pick up your child, and see when your child is checked in or out.

-Paperless billing: Digital payments directly from your bank account or credit/debit card. Paperless invoices, email receipts and on-demand tax documents.

Specialized Forms

The Allergy and Anaphylactic Form for students with severe allergies where a Care Plan is needed to be set up through their physician'.

Permission to Administer Medication must be filled out before any OTC or prescription medication can be given to a child. A physician's signature is required.

ALL students are required to have a General Health Appraisal form filled out at EVERY Well Child Check Up. This form is also available on Brightwheel.

*Physician's offices may have their own version of the GHA, but MUST also include a physician's signature.
